The PX5 processor is a power-efficient, high-performance solution designed for in-vehicle infotainment systems. It supports Android operating system and is based on the ARM Cortex architecture, combining an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU with a dedicated NEON coprocessor. Equipped with advanced hardware engines, it delivers optimized performance for premium applications. The PX5 can decode nearly all formats, including 4Kx2K at 30fps H.264, H.265, and supports H.264/MVC/VP8 encoding at 1080p@30fps.

It also features a high-quality JPEG encoder/decoder, along with specialized image pre- and post-processing units. A built-in 3D GPU ensures full compatibility with OpenGL ES 3.1, OpenCL 1.2, and DirectX 9.3. Additionally, a dedicated 2D hardware engine with MMU enhances display output and ensures smooth operation. The PX5 supports high-performance external memory interfaces such as DDR3, DDR3L, LPDDR2, and LPDDR3, capable of handling demanding bandwidth requirements. It also offers a comprehensive range of peripheral interfaces, enabling versatile and flexible application development.
